HealthRise Request for Letters of Interest
HealthRise is a five-year, $17-million (USD) Medtronic Philanthropy program that will support community-based demonstration projects specifically designed to expand access to care and management of chronic, non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as heart disease and diabetes. Abt Associates serves as the implementation partner for HealthRise, while the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) serves as the evaluation partner. Abt Associates is excited to start the process of grantee identification in India. As a first step, a Request for Letters of Interest has been released and can be found at:
Grantee projects will target underserved communities in the districts of Udaipur, Rajasthan and Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. NGOs that fit the criteria mentioned below will be invited to submit a full application through a Request for Application (RFA) process with an anticipated release date of March 2015 for three-year project grants. These grants will be awarded by May 2015. The award timeline may be subject to change
