Antoine is a Professor of Medicine, Chairman of the Department of Radiology and Medical Informatics at Geneva University, Director of the Division of eHealth and Telemedicine at Geneva University Hospitals. He is also President of the Health-On-the-Net Foundation, and the Past-President of the International Medical Informatics Association.
He trained as a physician at Geneva University where he specialized in internal medicine, then, after a postdoctoral fellowship, became Associate Professor of biomedical informatics at Vanderbilt University. In 1999, he returned to Geneva to take the responsibility of medical information systems at Geneva University Hospitals. In 2005, his efforts in developing telemedicine and tele-education were recognized by the creation of the UNESCO chair for telemedicine and multidisciplinary teaching, and, in 2010, of the World Health Organization collaborating center for eHealth and telemedicine.
Author of more than 120 original scientific publications, his current research focuses on the development of innovative, knowledge-enabled information systems and computer-based tools for improving the quality, safety and efficiency of care processes, at the local level of the hospital, the regional level of a community healthcare informatics network, the implementation of the national eHealth strategy for Switzerland, at the global level with the Health-On-the-Net Foundation (http://www.hon.ch) and with the development of a large telemedicine network in developing countries (http://raft.hcuge.ch). He is also leading an effort by Geneva University Hospitals to develop a world-class medical tele-expertise network.

Having worked with organizations ranging from nonprofits (Center for Nonprofits) to Fortune 50 (Hewlett Packard and Merril Lynch) companies, both as an employee and as a consultant, Sujatha has also started and successfully run her own business.
An active volunteer with the South Asian Heart Center, Sujatha has been Chair of their Galas, raising attendance from 300 to over 1000 and raising from 50K to 150K. She served on the Advisory Council until she started working for the organization.
As Corporate and Community Relations Lead Sujatha is chartered with building and sustaining external relationships with corporations, community organizations and spearheading strategic partnerships for the South Asian Heart Center of the El Camino Hospital.
In her capacity as Advisor to the Global Heart Network in relation to their connection to Hearts for Hearts Chennai, Sujatha will serve as the liaison and provide the “feet on the street” in the US to help raise funds and spread awareness of the need for a corpus to serve the less affluent in their quest to save young lives. Global Heart Network’s campaign in 2015 in Chennai is to help under privileged children suffering from Rheumatic or Congenital Heart Disease in Chennai and surroundings to have a new lease of life through surgery and follow up.

Widow of Senator Gipvanni Malagodi, President of the French Association Natangué Sénégal that she started in 1999, www.natanguesenegal.org, and Italian Association FAI she started in 2006, www.faiinsenegal.com. Both these Nonprofits are dedicated to education and helping mothers in Mbour, Senegal and it is with gratitude to Elena that we have sewn the seeds for a RHD Program in Mbour, Senegal that we started in 2014.
